Patriarch

A patriarch is a male head of a family, tribe, or group. The term is also used in certain religious contexts to refer to the highest-ranking bishops in Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, the Church of the East, and the ancient Church of Alexandria. In a broader sense, "patriarch" can refer to any man who exercises a dominant or authoritative role within a particular field or context.
