Yahshua

"Yahshua" is a proposed transliteration of the original Hebrew or Aramaic name of Jesus, commonly used by individuals in the Messianic Judaism movement. The name is derived from two elements: "Yah", a shortened form of 'YHWH', the name for God in the Hebrew Bible, and "shua", which means 'to save' or 'salvation'. Thus, "Yahshua" is often interpreted to mean 'Yahweh is salvation'.
