Colored People

"Colored People" is a term that has been used historically, particularly in the United States, to refer to people of non-white or mixed-race descent. It was commonly used during the era of racial segregation. However, in modern times, it is generally considered outdated and potentially offensive. More acceptable terms now include "people of color," which is used to collectively refer to people of non-European racial and ethnic backgrounds, or specific terms relating to a person's racial or ethnic identity. Always remember, language around race and ethnicity can be sensitive and it's important to use respectful and appropriate terms.
