Bear

"Bear" can have multiple meanings depending on the context: 1. In the animal kingdom, a bear refers to a large, heavy mammalian carnivore with a shaggy coat and a short tail, found in the wild in North America, Europe, and Asia. 2. In finance, a "bear" or a "bear market" refers to a condition in which securities prices fall, and widespread pessimism causes the stock market's downward spiral to be self-sustaining. 3. To "bear" can also be a verb meaning to carry, hold, or support, often referring to a heavy burden, either physically or metaphorically. 4. In the LGBT community, a "bear" is a term used to describe a particular physical appearance or body type within the gay community, typically referring to larger, hairier men.
