Israelite

An Israelite is a member of the ancient Hebrew nation, especially in the period from the Exodus to the Babylonian captivity (around 13th to 6th century BC). The term is also often used to refer to a descendant of the Jewish patriarch Jacob, also known as Israel. In a broader sense, it can refer to a Jewish person or a person belonging to the Jewish culture or religion.
